Padul was the scene of a car chase, which lasted 10 minutes an ended on Calle Colegios on the 20th of last month.

The incident, which took place around 17.00h, involved a man wanted by the police, was finally arrested in the centre of Padul.

He had abandoned his vehicle after colliding with a police car belonging to the Policía Local and two parked vehicles, after the police had managed to block off both ends of Calle Colegios.

The chase began after officers had signalled for him to pull over, but instead of doing so, he sped off.

The man probably decided not to stop because he was driving without any points left on his licence, meaning that he didn’t have a valid driving licence.
