Twenty Windows Stolen

So it should come as no surprise that two men stole 22, brand-new, sliding windows from a block of flats after gaining entry to the building in the North of the city of Granada.

It didn’t take long for the culprits to be identified by the Policía Nacional and a 44-year-old man with a criminal record was arrested just days later but the other is lying low.

The Chairman of the block-community association reported the theft, explaining that individuals had entered the building in the early hours of the morning after breaking the glass of the front door.

They had visited each floor of the building removing the sliding windows along the corridors, getting away with a booty worth 4,000 euros.

The Northern District of Granada is a rough area where vandals attack municipal buses, which consequently have to be escorted.
