A reader writes in to remind people of an event this afternoon in Nerja concerning voting in US elections by mail

Hi Martin,

I’m the founder of Democrats Abroad Málaga and also volunteer with Vote from Abroad (votefromabroad.org), a non-partisan organization dedicated to encouraging and helping US citizens to register to vote from abroad.

Vote from Abroad is holding two drop-in voter registration events in Málaga province in the coming weeks. All US citizens are invited to request their ballots for the critical 2026 elections. Trained personnel will be present to provide assistance.

Nerja: Wednesday, April 8th from 16:00-18:00, Los Huertos del Sevillano, Calle Huertos 33

We hope many US citizens will take advantage of this opportunity to meet their compatriots and make sure their voices are heard this year!
