Dolphin on Playa Chinagorda

It seems to be a monthly occurrence that a a dead dolphin is found on one of the Costa Tropical's beaches; this time it was in Almuñécar

The marine mammal was discovered on Playa de Chinagorda, which is the next one on after the Paseo de San Cristóbal.

Specialists from the marine-biologist entity, Aula del Mar, identified the carcass as that of a common dolphin (Delphinus delphi), judging by the colouring of its flanks.

Readers might remember that we reported on a dolphin found on the Playa del Pozuelo in Albuñol back in January.
