This accident occurred in the city of Granada and required the assistance of the fire service to get him down, according to the emergency coordination centre, 112.

The emergency centre sent the fire service, an ambulance and officers from two police forces (Policía Municipal and Nacional)

The fire personnel fished the 40-odd-year-old man off the roof and into the waiting ambulance, which took him to the Hospital de Neurotraumatología in Granada to be treated for his injuries.
