Órgiva Town Hall thanked both the Servicio de Protección de Menores, belonging to the Guardia Civil, and the Policía Local after taking several children from the Beneficio Commune into care.
The Councillor for Citizen Safety & Protección Civil, Leví Vicente Acosta, said that the Policía Local had fully cooperated with the Guardia Civil.

Councillor Acosta said that on numerous occasions they had pointed out how dangerous it was that there were people living along a barranco water course because of the risk of flooding in the winter and hill fires during the summer.
“The Town Hall has always strived for the normal coexistence of all the town’s residents within the limits of the law,” said the councillor.
