The Guardia Civil in Salobreña arrested an individual in his 40s for allegedly breaking into a house in the centre of town.

This took place around 04.30h on the 4th on Calle Ntra. Sra. del Rosario. That’s the one that leads up to the old town (where the old municipal market used to be).

The 48-year-old man was actually caught forcing a balcony sliding, glass door after scaling the wall.

Upon seeing the officers he tried to escape, jumping down onto the street and running off but he didn’t get far.

It was a neighbour who had alerted the police to what was going on.
