Caravan Break-In

Somebody with a defective understanding of private-property ownership broke into a caravan, used as permanent accommodation, in Órgiva and stole a bank card, amongst other items.

GRA ALP Orgiva's Main SquareThe thief, or burglar, then allegedly used the card until his eyes bled to buy scratch cards on the same day as the theft/break-in until the owner finally annulled the card.

The Guardia Civil suspects a 41-year-old individual of having forced open the door on the 16th of March and removed not only a handbag containing the said bankcard but also a bicycle and a tablet.

The police located the ONCE kiosk where the card was used and thanks to footage from a nearby security camera, they were able to identify the suspect, who is a known local bad lad.

He has since been arrested and the bicycle returned to its rightful owner; not so the tablet.
