Yet another night-time blaze on Salobreña vega, this time on the TH1, next to, Urbanización El Sol.
Like all previous, ‘mysterious’ fires, this one sprang up in the early hours of the morning, coinciding with forecast high winds, which pretty much shows a clear pattern of deliberate fires by somebody waiting for a windy night.
As always, the Motril fire service had to be called in, with the collaboration of the Policía Local, Protección Civil and the Salobreña post, Guardia Civil.
Fortunately the drizzle that fell during those same hours helped to prevent it spreading and putting the fire out.

True Warren. But they look well ard on that crossing. The Mums lurve it. Plus the other day I saw a female crossing person in a a nice uniform. Dark sunglasses and a baton. Grrrrr.
