This year's winner of the XXXVIII International Classical Guitar Contest Andrés Segovia was Alvaro Toscano Román from Córdoba.

With this achievement he wins 10,000 euros and a special edition, concert-guitar model “Maestro” crafted by Stephen Hill.

Furthermore, he has also won a concert tour during 2024 by the Fundación Guitarras Alhambra.

The second prize went to the Japanese guitarist, Yuki Saito, worth 4,000 euros, plus a special guitar by the Granada luthiers, Francisco Lázaro & Javier Martínez.

The third prize, worth 2,000 euros, went to the Chinese guitarist, Fan Shilong, who won it for the second consecutive year.

This year 13 guitarists participated from six countries, amongst them five Spaniards.
