Alice: Wonderful! The incident occurred in the municipality of Polopos, within one of its villages/hamlets. The Guardia Civil press release did not specify which… perhaps you could send them a missive of massive retribution, as well?

In this article you refer to Polopos and ‘the village’. As a resident of the village of Polopos I can confirm that the incident referred to did NOT take place in Polopos village. Publishing incorrect information is irresponsible; it can cause damage to neighbourly relations, instigate speculation and be extremely upsetting for the few households which consist of a couple and their adult son. The municipality is known as Polopos La Mamola. Within the municipality there are five ‘nuclei’, one of which is Polopos village. The said drug raid did not take place here.

How do they dare (the police)?!

Anyone who has attempted to cycle from the coast to Haza del Lino, knows that when they get to Polopos (if they do), it’s refreshment time.

    Highly yours,
