Fire Service Rescue Trapped Dog

The Guadix fire service were called in to rescue a dog that was trapped inside a concrete pipe; it had to be cut out.

GRA Dog Rescued from Concrete Pipe by Fire PersonnelThe dog had been missing several days and its owners were getting desperate to find him.

As for the dog, it’s not certain how long it had been in the concrete pipe, but once he did enter into it, it had become its prison and found itself jammed in six meters from the end of the pipe.

The source article doesn’t explain how its whereabout became known (probably barking) but the fire service used a large radial saw to cut through the concrete walls of the pipe in order to free it.

A happy ending, for once, because apart from injuries that it has caused to itself trying to force its way out, and being exhausted by the ordeal, it was reunited with its owners after being patched up.

My Leon Gatos did the same. Went down a large bore 30º angled, plastic pipe into the ground. Three days and night. I could hear him. But if course not see him. Eventually looked down the pipe. Put my extended tree loppers down it, until they got to him with a ripped sheet attached. Hour later in he came. Could get a grip on the sheet. Animals can be buggers.
