Yes, everybody flooded to the Costa Tropical last weekend, with the short combination of the July & August crowd. Hell, even jelly fish flocked to the beaches too.
So, yellow flags were flying along the coast, which doesn’t mean that bathing is forbidden, but rather that bathers should exercise caution, which includes not gargling with confused jelly fish.
The preferred beaches appeared to have been down Motril way (Playa Granada) and Carchuna, where the lifeguard & Red Cross services have reported numerous cases of jelly-fish stings.
Well, with a bit of luck, now that this busiest of all weekends during the summer has passed, people will stop fondling jellyfish and urinating on themselves and each other in order to lessen the pain.

Not for a few years. Really miss pub kick out times. Especially the kebab fiesta and mini cab queue chats. The semi naked woman are a bit much in November.
Patrick: Spanish? You haven’t been out in Blighty when the pubs turn out… 😉
Urinating in public and on each other. How very Spanish. There are clubs for that sort of thing , you know !
