There was a motorway collision on the A-7 this morning near the A-44 junction leaving one person injured.

Despite the accident being a nose-to-tail collision between two HGVs, the accident caused little disruption to traffic, apart from transported goods being scattered across the road surface.

The Motril fire service was despatched, together with units from the Guardia Civil traffic police (DGT).

There was another accident a couple of days ago on the A-44 where it passes through the municipality of Dúrcal also involving a lorry. This time the accident caused 3-kilometres tailbacks.
