This is the 10th year that Cronometrada de La Rábita will be held, falling this year on the 24th and 25th of this month.
The event was announced with the Mayor of Albuñol, María José Sánchez and the Chairman of the Federación Andaluza de Automovilismo, Manuel Alonso Borbalán present, amongst others.
Drivers from all over Andalucía will participtate in this event organised by the Club Deportivo Coda, with the results from the race counting towards the regional championships, Campeonato de Andalucía de Cronometradas 2023
So, what the hell are we rabbiting on about? This is a rally; against-the-clock racing, as its name suggests. Streets will be closed to traffic and pedestrians as the race will cut through town.
Rallies can be on on roads or forest tracks with the straightest stretch being only 100 metres long and a circuit length of one kilometres. Competing vehicles can bye rally-adapted, family cars, Cross cars and CMs. So far there are 30 drivers competing.
