On Friday the 19th of last month there was a major car crash in Dúrcal on the old main road, the N-323a.
The emergency call centre, 112 received half a dozen calls to say that there had been a collision on the said road a little before 17.20h involving three cars and an articulated lorry.
The Coordinator despatched the Guardia Civil de Tráfico, and the fire service from the city of Granada, who, fortunately, were not required as nobody was trapped inside their vehicles.
The ambulances also sent to the scene transported an elderly woman of 89 and three men, aged 87, 71 and 35 to the Hospital Clínico San Cecilio (PTS) in Granada.
Since the accident was first reported there has been no further information on the cause of the accident nor on the people hospitalised.
