Vélez-Málaga Town Hall has extended its deadline for residents to claim their free bus passes.

The Town Hall has made available 17,000 free, bus passes for the municipal bus service. These passes allow you to make up to 30 journeys between now and the 30th of September.

There are three types of bus passes:

Joven Gratuito: (for young people between 16 and 30). Those interested must obtain them through the Youth Department (Juventud) within the Town Hall between 17.00h and 20.00h.

Bonobús Pensionista Gratuito: (Over 65s) which can be obtained at the Servicios Sociales Comunitarios office, between 17.00h and 20.00h.

Bonobús Zonas de Bajas Emisiones: (for drivers) These are obtainable through the Oficinas de Atención al Ciudadano (OAC), between 10.00h and 13.00h.
