Do not adjust your eyeballs because, yes, Sir David Suchet, will be visiting Lanjarón in the Alpujarra shortly.
He will be speaking about his life as an actor in La Fábrica on the 25th of this month at 18.00h! The venue has 460 sq/m of floor space and is an important focal point for Art, Music, Literature, conferences and culture in general in this town, famous for its bottled water.
The building, as is evident from its name, used to be a factory or oil mill, which belongs to the Gallegos family. Fernando Gallegos, (the son of the founder) and his partner, Lindsay Ostervig from Scotland, manage La Fábrica, with cooperation from many people from different countries.
Sir David, who was born in London in 1946, is also known for his roll in the romantic drama, The Way We Live Now (2001). As a young man he enrolled in the Nacional Youth Theatre and studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
So, there you have it and so if you are a big fan of Poirot, then pop along to Lanjarón on the 25th!
