The Junta de Andalucía has set about clearing the Barranco de Ítrabo in Almuñécar using the private company, Tragsa.
The Councillor for the Environment, Luis Aragón, explained that work is being carried out along several sections amounting to 1,500 lineal metres.
“Workers are concentrating on eliminating wild cane, which is beginning to choke the barranco, which is why the Town Hall asked the Junta de Andalucía to carry this task out.”
He also apologised for the inconvenience caused to the people for whom this track is their access lane.
