The Prime Minister of the Junta de Andalucía announced a little before 21.00h last night an extension to opening times for restaurants and night clubs.
Starting at 00.01h on the 2nd (Thursday) restaurants, bars and chiringuitos can remain open until 02.00h, although they have to stop serving at 01.00h.
Similarly, pubs, discos and night clubs, etc, can remain open until 03.30h but again, they cannot serve drinks 30 minutes befofe; i.e. after 03.00h.
Ice-cream parlours can stay open until 02.00h, but they can’t sell alcohol after 01.00h. Theme parks can also remain open until 02.00h
Regarding maximum table seating in restaurants, eight people can now occupy the same table inside. Furthermore, you can now be served and consume at the bar in Level One areas – that’s us.
Weddings etc, there is a maximum of 250 in interiors for Level One municipalities.
Editorial comment: a lot of expectation and little change, despite much improved 5th-wave figures. Anyway, more details will be known when the BOJA is published later today.
