As of the 18th of May (tomorrow) your bottle of butane will cost 14.65 euros, going up from 13.96 euros.
Coupled with the rise in electricity prices this news is as welcome as flatulence in a lift.
Energy prices tend to go up with the onset of winter, not just over a month from summer, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles this year.
The price of a domestic bottle is revised every two months with the maximum percentage that it can go up set at five percent. The new price was published in the BOE today.
Summing up, this rise in butane gas only effects the domestic bottles (12KG). Larger bottles are not regulated by the government and depend on the energy prices on the international market and the exchange rate of the Euro.
