The Andres Segovia Classical Guitar Competition, which was due to be held between the 26th and 30th of this month has been postponed.

Instead the XXXVI Certamen Internacional de Guitarra Clásica Andrés Segovia will be held in May between the 18th and 22nd.

The main problem was that there simply weren’t enough of competitors given the present travelling restriction – most of them come from abroad.

Another reason why it was delayed was because of the death of the Jury Chairman, Diego Martínez Martínez, and out of respect it was decided to allow an suitable elapse to pass.
