Salobreña Town Hall is calling for calm amongst the residents of the municipality, especially parents, after a schoolchild tested positive for Covid-19.
This school case created quite a bit of concern amongst parents despite the fact that it was a likely outcome somewhere along the line.
The health authorities are taking steps in the said school, starting with the temporarily closing the classroom used by the infected child. According to Radio Salobreña, the teacher and 23 other classmates of the girl have not attended the school, pending the results of PCR tests.
