According to the Chairman of the Provincial Council,Sr. Entrena, the pandemia has shown that life in the countryside is safer and healthier.

For this reasons, he considers, that this situation could counter the slow loss of population in rural areas of Granada.

With this in mind, his administration is going to go all out to achieve this, he promised. He added, however, that they would need the support of other administrations, especially the Junta de Andalucía, to achieve it.

The Chairman explained, “what we have to do is give the rural world what it needs. What it already has is a healthy life, but what it lacks is the possibility to work from home using Internet,” adding, “If I lived in Carataunas, I wouldn’t have been able to make daily video conferences during the Lock Down.”
