Salobreña’s Hash House

SAL Salobreña's Hash HouseThere is  one of Salobreña’s industries that is still steaming ahead despite the Lock Down… illegal marihuana/hashish plantations.

Yes, on enterprising Salobreño was diligently cultivating 570 cannabis plants in a rather large cortijo.

The 45-year-old Spanish gentleman was arrested by the Policía Nacional based in Motril, not only for feeding wobbly triffids but also for allegedly establishing an illegal hook-up to the electricity mains.

The Grupo de Estupefacientes (Drugs Squad) had got wind of a large plantation within the municipality of Salobreña. What they found was a grinning forest within a 190 sq/m country house, whose rooms had been modified for the said purpose.
