An off-duty policeman from the Guardia Civil called for support from municipal police officers to arrest a man with a bow in Los Tablones.

Apparently, the man, who is well known in the area, turned up at the local fiestas de San Antonio de Padua which are held in front of the chapel, armed with a bow & arrow, pointing it in a threatening manner.

The Guardia Civil officer had been in the area when he spotted the man pointing the drawn bow at locals around 21.30h yesterday evening.

The man was arrested without further incident.
