The consumers defence association, Facua, met with representatives of Aena, which runs the country’s airports, over the Granada flight cancellations.
Since May the low-cost airline, Vueling, has cancelled or run delays on dozens of flights between Granada Airport and Barcelona
On the 18th of June they cancelled all their flights, on the 26 of July they cancelled another, on the 10th of August, three flights were cancelled and the following Saturday two more were cancelled, leaving 400 passengers stranded.
In the case of all these flights, according to Facua, the airline failed to inform passengers adequately in the case of cancellations or delays. Furthermore, the company did not provide compensation, refusing those claims submitted.
