Almuñécar’s next English-language film to be shown is The Shape of Water, starting at 18.00h on Monday the 5th at the Casa de la Cultura.

Synopsis: This American romantic fantasy drama film directed by Guillermo del Toro Set in Baltimore in 1962 in secret installations. There, a lonely, mute janitor, Elisa, strikes up a close relationship with an amphibious creature that is being held in captivity after it was found in a South American river.

The Americans want to vivesect it, The Russians want to euthanise it and Elisa wants to keep it in her bathtub…
