The Guardia Civil discovered, indoor, marijuana plantations located within two houses on the Urbanización Alminares just up from La Caleta, Salobreña.

After having searched the houses, they found nearly 2,000 plants: 1,200 plants in one house and 660 in the other.

As a result three men were arrested and all the plants confiscated pending destruction.

Both houses were completely equipped for the task, including sound proofing to hide the noise of fans, etc.
