The police at Granada airport arrested three Chinese citizens with false South Korean passports with the intention of taking a flight to the UK.
The suspects, two men and a woman who were aged between 21 and 26, were attempting to board a direct flight to London.
Although the forged passports were well made, what made the police suspect that something fishy was going on was that their photos didn’t match their actual appearance, which led to a more technical inspection of the said documents.
The inspection revealed they had all been ‘manipulated.’ Furthermore, when a Korean-speaking interpreter was brought in, it was discovered that the suspects couldn’t speak the language.
