A 26-year-old man was arrested in Motril in possession of five kilos of marihuana in the boot of his car.

The reason that he was rumbled was because he was seen speeding through the streets of Motril in the early hours of today.

It was a routine patrol that spotted the speeding car and decided wave him down and soon pulled him over. A quick look in the boot turned up five kilos of marijuana divided between two plastic bags.
