A Woman, Arson & Romanians

The Public Prosecutor at the provincial law courts in Granada is recommending ten years imprisonment for a woman, accused of setting light to an abandoned police station.

The reason that she allegedly did this was because it was being used as a squat by four Romanian nationals.

The incident took place at 18.45h on the 23rd of August, 2013 when Eva Maria “matches” B.F. entered the building, situated in the north of the city, and taking advantage that the occupants were not home, reportedly torched it, using inflammable liquid.

The P.P. considers that although nobody was “at home,” the woman’s alleged actions put at risk the lives of residents of neighboring buildings.
