Paco and Teresa have taken the premises back to its roots and returned it to a cafe-bar format, although the Inmoblilaria Toscana office still exists.

They’ve made an excellent job of it to turning it into a gastro-bar; i.e., the quality of a restaurant’s gastronomy but in a less formal setting.

With a spacious terrace and a a very airy dining room which almost melts into the terrace thanks to the large glass front to it, they offer a nicely presented breakfast, together with fresh orange juice.

And as morning turns into midday you can either snack on homemade sandwiches or ox-meat hamburgers – they mince the meat for the burgers themselves – or something more elaborate with a very original selection of dishes. One that caught my eye was the asparagus mousse!

The tapas are excellent and the dining in the evening enjoys the same variety of wholesome dishes.
