The leader of the Salobreña branch of the IU, Ángel Coello, wants a commission to be set up to investigate alleged nepotism within the Town Hall.
Sr. Coello claims that a selection exam to hire a person for a senior management position was effectively fixed so that one person in particular would be guaranteed to get the position.
For this reason, he is calling for an investigative commission to be set up, with representation from all the opposition groups and representatives for public employees.
Sr. Coello says that his suspicion is not based on “intuition,” as “several locals” have reported the supposed affair.
