Three armed men decided that they needed a car, and the best choice was a nearby car with two occupants. Trouble was, it was an unmarked police car… trouble that is, for the policemen.
It was Saturday the 16th in Cartagena (Murcia) at half five in the afternoon. The two plainclothes policemen inside, faced with determined gentlemen with firearms, had no other option other than to climb out and watch the thieves drive off.
The police command centre then sent out a message, warning all units to be on alert as the three men – who all had Colombian accents – were armed and dangerous.
