The Almuñécar, Maintenance Department are sorting out the potholes in the El Cerval and Rescate area, along the Cuesta del Marchante.

First Councillor for La Herradura, Juan José Ruiz Joya, explained that the abundant rains during the winter had caused quite a few potholes to form, especially along the parts that have never had a tarmac surface.

The pothole-elimination campaign also includes a cleaning up of the vegetation along the sides of the lane up to El Cerval.
