A Frenchman, resident in Madrid, was killed when a large stone came through the windscreen of the vehicle he was travelling in, killing him instantly.

A 13-year-old boy, had dropped it as a prank from a pedestrian bridge over the fast lane of the road to La Manga del Mar Menor in Murcia.

The 59-year-old victim had been sitting in the front passenger seat.
