My Organ’s for Sale

A man in the Huelva town of Isla Cristina is, besides camping outside of the town hall in petition for help to his unemployment problem, offering one of his kidneys for sale in the hopes of solving his economic woes.
Sharing his campsite are his wife, also unemployed for 17 months, and one of their children, who is presumably starving to death.

“I am in a state of extreme poverty,” claims Félix Acosta, “and only want the Town Hall to offer a solution, but the Mayoress only told me to go to the Unemployment Office to look for work because there’s none here.”

To add to Félix’s misery, the Guardia Civil has denounced him for his mere presence being a public nuisance (occupying public space).
