A charity Lunch is being held on the 26th of November at the Restaurante Rosa Náutica (La Herradura) in aid of the Help for Heroes charity.

The restaurant is located at the western end of the La Herradura paseo and those attending are requested to arrive at 13.00h for lunch at 13.30h. The following information was sent in by Sean Brown:

A special “pre Christmas” fund raising lunch is being held in order to support the charity and also to thank all those who have supported our monthly coffee mornings. There will be a ‘super prize’ raffle.

The meal will be a menu del dia and will cost only euro 10 each, payable at the restaurant. Drinks with the meal are not included, but coffee will be.

The food, vegetarian option included, is superbly cooked by the German owner and chef. He is very supportive of our charity and will also be involved in our publicity drive.

Before this meal, we will have had the “full” collection tins opened by an independent person (probably the Anglican Priest) and we will be able to write a “gift aided” sterling cheque at that time so that we all can see how much support we are giving to this very worthy cause.
