Homeowners will be able to sleep just a bit more easily thanks to the arrest of a 20-year-old Lithuanian burglar who allegedly had been doing the rounds in Almuñécar. The Guardia Civil consider that he was responsible for a total of three break-ins, walking away with jewellery and tools to the tune of 10,500 euros.
The Guardia were able to nail him, thanks to their inspections of the crime scenes, where they were able to ascertain that it was the same culprit each time, owing to the modus operandi used.
Having developed a suspicion about who it could be, they visited the mans’ house with a court order and the search uncovered many of the missing items, which the man had allegedly not been able to sell yet.
