The pensioners of La Herradura enjoyed a munching fest, Christmas Dinner, at the Hotel Almijara on the 16th of December. This is becoming a yearly event, with a similar event taking place at Hotel Helios for the Almuñécar pensioners… You’ve got to keep them apart, because it stops them getting drunk and starting fights, of course. The Vice-Mayoress and political representative for La Herradura, María Vitoria Ruiz and Councillor Daniel Barbero both attended the feast, both without bodyguards as the local pensioners were on their best behaviour.
