Two men, aged 30 and 34, were arrested by the Guardia Civil for having 700 grams of cocaine on them – the police had stopped them at a routine road check within the municipality of Almuñécar. The two men, who both have Santo Dominican nationality, were on their way to Málaga Airport to take a flight to Tenerife, which was the destination for the drugs.
The police had stopped them and had checked their identity. Unfortunately for the two men, they had a police sniffer-dog, which soon located the ‘cargo.’
Inspired by this find, the police then patted the two men down and found that one wore a sort of corset with pockets for high-purity cocaine capsules.
