According to the building developers behind the Almunecar, 7-star-hotel project, Bahia Fenecia, despite the hold up over the licence, construction work will begin before the year is out. In fact, the problem over the licence merely put the project back by about a month, they consider.

Whilst Out Swimming…

A holidaymaker from Cordoba literally bumped into a package of hashish whilst out swimming off Punta de la Mona, La Herradura. The drugs; 40 kg of hashish pellets, were wrapped in raffia sacking.

The idea of opening up the beach road to 2-way traffic was supposed to be an apaño (temporary fix) to the problem caused by the new paseo wall – in that aspect, it has obviously failed.
