Nerja is giving local residents (empadronados) over 16 a say on what will be included in the 2019 Budget. The option to take part ends this Sunday.

Basically, the citizens of Nerja will be able to choose three projects of the 36 proposals that have been put forward, with a budget of 500,000 euros.

This is the first time that Nerja will hold a ‘participative budget,’ which includes such municipal boards as: Cultura & Juventud, Deporte & Ocio, Entorno & Bienestar, Turismo & Comercio or Infraestructuras

If you are a Nerja resident and on the empradronamiento list, you need only visit nerjadecide.es/proyectos-validados for more information and then www.bit.ly/nerjadecide to cast your vote. To participate you will have to provide your NIF and Date of Birth.

Furthermore, if you require assistance in order to participate; i.e. help on how to do it, you can visit the Oficina de Atención al Ciudadano between 09.00h to 13.00h up to this Friday.
