Salobreña’s future medical centre will be on a plot on the south side of the La Fuente II Park.

But we’re still a while off seeing a finished and functioning medical centre there because, first off, is putting out to tender the task of drawing up the project.

The Mayor confirmed this news after returning from a meeting in Motril with a Junta bigwig, together with other mayors in the area.

She also said that she pointed out that many townsfolk are not happy with the emergency service in the municipality.

Finally, she urged the Junta representative to hand over the finally approved copy of the TH1, hotel-area project, so that the Town Hall can issue the relevant building licence to the hotel-construction company.
