Last weekend up in the Sierra Nevada saw the opening of the Pistas Negreras (most difficult slopes) giving the ski station a total of 90 kilometres of ski slopes.
They also opened up new slopes in the Laguna de las Yeguas area thanks to recent snowfalls; an area preferred by skiers with experience. In fact, the only area still not open is the El Águila slope.
The 90 kilometres of skiable slopes, with a 1,200 metre difference in height, are distributed on a total of 105 ski slopes: six black slopes, 38 red, 39 blue and 19 green. The depth of snow ranges between 40cm and 200cm.
