Salobreña Cultural Agenda

SAL AuditoriumHere is a selection of cultural activities in Salobreña this December, including an old-photo exhibition, puppet shows, the Eco-Rastro and live music.

From the 2nd to the 30th of December there will be a photo exhibition of photos taken by Gary Conner, a professional photographer from Los Angeles, when he stayed Salobreña in 1974 for a period of five months, documenting day-to-day life. You can even obtain copies of the photos – contact Hisako Sakurai at hisakosakurai101@gmail.com.

The exhibition will be in the Biblioteca Municipal and will be inaugurated on the 2nd between 17.00h and 20.00h. Viewing times will be Mondays to Fridays between 10.00h and 13.00h and then 17.00h and 20.00h.

On the 2nd of December the Eco-Rastro will be open all morning with workshops and activities for all ages. More info: facebook Asociación Akasha or email culturalencuentro@gmail.com.

Saturday the 9th will see a play by Feelgood Theatre which will be performed at the town auditorium at 21.00h with an entrance price of 15 euros.

On the 15th the Etcétera puppet theatre company will stage Peter and the Wolf for kiddies at the town auditorium with two sittings: 10.00h and 12.00h. The puppet show is aimed and children between the ages of three and six.

Saturday the 16th will see the pupils from the Centar Rockschool town auditorium at 12.00h – free entrance. Readers are reminded that you can put your children’s names down for Piano, Electric & Acoustic Guitar, Electric Bass, Ukulele, drums and singing courses.
