MOT Calle Fray AngelWork will soon begin on Calle Fray Ángel Sagastume in Motril, which will require its closure to traffic for the works duration.

The work, which entails changing underground infrastructure, such as sewage, water mains and rain drains, will begin on the Thursday the 16th. We have no information on how long it will take, however.

This kind of work has been taking place in the Huerto del Capitán area in general and more specifically along Calle Agua, Calle Luna, Calle Garcés Herrera, Barranco de la Higuera, Plaza Tejeros, Plaza del Caracol, Calle Escobas, Calle Venezuela and Calle Baltasar Gracián.

The above area of Motril has always had problem with heavy puddling each time it rains owing to poor drainage.

Back to the question of traffic-flow changes on the 16th, although Calle Fray Ángel Sagastume will be closed from this date, both Calle Barranco de la Higuera and Calle Venezuela, will be open again to traffic.
