AND Earth Tremors1It might have been relatively quiet this evening where you are, but just out to sea we had six earth tremors in the space of 23 minutes.

All this grumpy, subterranean activity was in the Mar de Alborán and ranged between 2.0 to 4.0 on the Richter Scale and on average about 10 kilometres down.

So, here’s the gen:

18:19:03h = 4.0º R/S
18:22:20h = 2.6º R/S
18:23:49h = 2.4º R/S
18:26:55h = 2.2º R/S
18:29:32h = 2.0º R/S
18:42:01h = 2.4º R/S

In the meantime, around midday, Gúéjar Sierra had a rumble too, at about the same intensity.

Hey, we live in a wobbly area and in the last 37 years that I have lived there, I haven’t seen a car get swallowed up by a yawning chasm in the road or seen buildings crack & crumble, while, admittedly, on the Levante, they have (Lorca).
