Almuñécar Brick Take-Off

ALM Galera building workThe building sector in Almuñécar is starting to wake up from a decade of slumber, thanks to urban development in Taramay and other areas of the municipality.

The Town Council has just given the green light to a new development on Galera Playa in the area known as Torre Galera. The project belongs to Sabadell Real Estate Development SL and consists of 44 dwellings, 48 garages and 44 storerooms, all of which are being marketed by Solvia.

Architects Fausto Alarcón Duque and Mario Romero González have designed a first phase consisting of two and 3-bedroom, dwellings with two bathrooms and spacious patios, each one having a parking space in a communal garage and a storeroom. There is also a communal swimming pool and gardened area.

According to the Councillor for Urban Development, José Manuel Fernández Medina, this building development is not the only one in the pipeline as there are other projects in the Cabria area, another one above the N-340, one in the Marina del Este and another in La Caletilla.
